Categories

MEN Men who have turned 15 on the first day of the tournament. Women born in the same age range can also participate in the tournament, but the number of women can't exceed the number of men on the team's roster. The team leader who is over the age 18 takes responsibility for those members of team who are under the age of 18.
WOMEN Women who have turned 15 on the first day of the tournament. The team leader who is over the age 18 takes responsibility for those members of team who are under the age of 18.
VETERANS 35+ Men born before 12/31/1991, women born in the same age range can also participate in the tournament. The goalkeeper is expect from this rule, the minimum age of goalkeeper is 15.
VETERANS 45+ Men born before 12/31/1981, women born in the same age range can also participate in the tournament. The goalkeeper is expect from this rule, the minimum age of goalkeeper is 15.
*If there are not enough teams registered (minimum 6 teams), this Veterans 45+ category will be combined with the Veterans 35+ category.
A player can play only for one team at the main tournament (7/3/2026 to 7/5/2026)!
In case of violation of this rule all matches of all the teams for which the player started, will be canceled.

Tournament system

Open Air Cup Dobruška 2026 – Men, Women, Veterans 35+, Veterans 45+

The teams will be divided into groups of 6–9 teams. The key to advancing from the group in each category will be published together with the tournament schedule.
The main tournament will start the matches on the first day of play from 12:30 PM – everything will be specified with the tournament schedule.

Medals and cups are prepared for the first three teams in each category.

The total number of teams is limited. The organizer reserves the right to change the qualification limits in individual categories!

The organizer reserves the right to change the schedule of the tournament. In this case, all team leaders of the affected by the change will be contacted. On his/her own interest, the team leader is obliged to enter and update the functional connection and the responsible person in the team registration on the Internet at the time of the tournament.

Game rules

Game rules

Matches will be managed by referees with a Czech floorball license.

The tournament is played according to the rules of Czech floorball with the following exceptions:

  • 3+1 system, in the basic group the length of the match is 1×12 minutes super rough time.
  • In Play-off (Men, Women) from first round to round of 16 is the length of the match is 1×12 minutes super rough time – the last minute is stopped. From quarterfinal to final lenght of the match is 2×8minutes super rough time – the last minute of the second half is stopped.
  • In Play-off (Veterans 35+, Veterans 45+) the length of the match is 1×12 minutes super rough time – the last minute is stopped. Only in the finale is there a length of time 2×8minutes super rough time – the last minute of the second half is stopped.
  • Time-out is not allowed in the basic group. In the play-off, 1 time-out per game is allowed for each team.
  • Exclusions
    • Exclusion time is 1 minute, in the case of a 2+2 minutes exclusion, the exclusion time is 1+1 minute.
    • Red Cards:
      • Red Card 1 = suspension until the end of the given match and penalty for the team 1+1.
        (entry of a player not mentioned in the minutes, hard tackle behind the edge, unsportsmanlike conduct and targeted delay of the game).
      • Red Card 2 = suspension until the end of the game day and penalty for the team 1+1.
        (gross unsportsmanlike conduct, aggressive and liquidating interventions during the game)
        The JURY of the tournament always decides about the player's further activity or his exclusion from the tournament the evening before the next playing day.
  • If the team does not show up for the match according to the time schedule, a 0:5 disqualification follows to the disadvantage of the team that did not show up for the match.
    THERE IS NO WAITING TIME! In the case of two suspensions due to a late start to the match, the given team will be excluded from the tournament and the results of its match will be annulled.
  • The team can also start without a goalkeeper in the number of 4+0.
  • The matches will take place on pitches measuring 21×10 meters on playing surfaces that will be specially laid for this tournament.
  • After a tie in the play-off knockout matches:
    • series of 3 penalty shots (three selected players)
    • penalty shootout 1 – sudden death (any player in any order)

TOURNAMENT JURY – Jan Černý, Jan Jirák, Tomáš Pecen, Miroslav Sixta, Tomáš Vidlák, Jan Dušek, Jan Flegl

PROTESTS – Any protest must be submitted in the written form to the Jury of the tournament or to the field manager (the scorer's desk will call) no later than 15 minutes after the end of the match. The fee for filing a protest is 20 EUR. If the protest is rejected, the fee won't be return. The decision of the Tournament Jury is final.

Team and individual fees

Team fee

Category Men, Women, Veterans 35+, Veterans 45+ – 160 EUR/team
The entry fee has to be paid no later than 5/31/2026 at the latest. The registration of the teams that do not pay the entry fee by that date will be canceled. In case of greater interest, the teams will be selected based on the order of entry fee payment. Other teams will be included in the places of substitutes. Tournament organizers may exceptionally grant a wild card.

The team will receive the documents (advance invoice) for the payment of the entry fee by e-mail immediately after registration!

If the team cancels participation after 5/31/2026, the entry fee will not be refunded!
In the event of withdrawal from the tournament by the team after 6/20/2026, the team will be charged a contractual fine of 80 EUR and the entry fee will not be refunded.

Individual fees

Participant wristband for Men, Women, Veterans 35+, Veterans 45+ categories – 10 EUR/person
Players in the categories Men, Women and Veterans, Masters are required to purchase a participation wristband at the tournament!
Payment of the individual fee is mandatory for active participants of the adult tournament!
Individual fees for participation wristbands for the entire team must be paid by Wednesday, 7/1/2026] at the latest!
Each team will receive wristbands upon accreditation.

Participation wristband benefits:

  • free stay in the area
  • entry to the opening of the tournament with a concert on Friday, July 3
  • entry to the main tournament party on Saturday, July 4

The fee for accommodation in a tent city is 15 EUR/person. for the entire duration of the tournament, i.e. on Friday, July 3, 2026 – Sunday, July 5, 2026.
The fee includes a stay in a guarded tent city with the private toilets and private showers.

Alternatively, it is possible to pay extra on the spot during the accreditation itself on the day of the start of the tournament.

Area

Area

The entire area is covered by a free Wi-Fi network.

There will be charging stations for smart phones.

Showers and changing rooms are available on the premises from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
In advance, we ask that these premises be kept clean.

The organizer is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings during the entire tournament!

Toilets will be accessible 24 hours a day.

It is forbidden to enter the field in turfs, trainers or football boots. Shoes for multi-purpose surfaces or indoor shoes are allowed.

Smoking is prohibited on the playgrounds.

Area is monitored by camera.

WE REQUEST compliance with the night time set by the closing of the bars. A team that violates the nightly peace in the tent city faces the possibility of expulsion from the tournament!

General information

General information

Tournament participants start on their own risk. The organizer is not responsible for any injury, illness or loss of personal belongings during the entire tournament.

For the duration of the tournament, the medical service will be provided by first aid in the area.

In case of bad weather, the organizer reserves the right to change the program and schedule of the tournament!

By registering and subsequently accrediting to the tournament, all team members agree to these written propositions and rules of the tournament, and in case of non-compliance, they are exposed to the threat of exclusion from the tournament (individuals as well as the entire teams) and cancellation of all achieved results.

Furthermore, by registering, all participants agree to shoot the tournament video.

Furthermore, participants agree to the taking of camera recordings of the area or its areas for the purpose of protecting people and property. These areas are visibly marked. For further information, please contact the tournament management info@openaircup.cz

In case of damage of the area, property in the area, property of the organizer or property of other participants, the organizer reserves the right to exclude the team from the tournament and annul its results without claims for refund of the entry fee or individual fees.

With regard to the smooth running and observance of the established time schedule of the tournament, we ask all teams to arrive on time at the individual courts and please respect the start of the match!

Rosters and Accreditation

Rosters

By Wednesday, July 1, 2026, it is mandatory to properly fill out the roster on the tournament website and then pay the individual fee for the participation wristband for the roster of each player from the roster – see the individual fee for the participation wristband. Only players listed on the roster and who have paid the individual fee for the participation wristband can start the match. Additions and changes to the lists are still possible during accreditation. A maximum of 12 people can be registered on the roster. The access data will be sent to the teams together with the confirmation of registration in the tournament.

After accreditation, this list can no longer be supplemented and it closes before the first match of each team.

Accreditation

Accreditation will take place on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM in the tournament area. Upon accreditation, you will receive participation wristbands and you will have the opportunity to make final adjustments to the roster. Accreditation has to be done before starting the first match – otherwise you cannot start the match !!!

GDPR

In connection with the entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27th April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation of personal data – GDPR) we are obliged to inform you what your personal data we have available, how it is protected, how we use it and what rights you have towards us in relation to personal data.

The basic data that we store in the tournament database are first name, last name and date of birth. All players are required to provide the basic data if they want to participate in the tournament. The team representatives are also required to provide their e-mail account and telephone contact for registration, team management and basic communication Basic data must be verifiable according to valid personal documents issued by state and local government authorities to prove the user's identity. The data may be listed on the website.

In case of disagreement with the processing of your personal data, you of course have the right to delete them. In such a case, please send your request to info@openaircup.cz, but we would like to inform you of the impossibility of starting the tournament.

By filling out the list or registering, you agree to the processing of personal data that FBC Dobruška z.s. with registered office at Laichterova street no. 985, 518 01 Dobruška, ID: 22740333 keeps.
By signing up for the tournament, you give permission for the taking and subsequent use of individual photos and partially time-limited video and audio recordings of a natural person (group of people), which can be printed and used on the web and social networks.

Parking

Parking

The improvement of the facilities also concerns the parking lot. This year, compared to previous years, the parking lot will be in a different location – in close proximity to the tent city. To maintain order even in the parking lot, a security agency will be guarding it, the entrance and exit will be guarded by security guards, so that the parking lot is exclusively for participants with a paid parking fee.

The parking fee is 10 EUR for the entire duration of the tournament, i.e. on Friday, July 3, 2026 – Sunday, July 5, 2026. Parking fees can be paid directly on the spot only, in return for the fee, each car will receive a parking card, which will be shown when you enter the parking lot.

For those who do not want to park in a paid parking lot, we have the option of free parking – a distance of about 400m from the area.

Every year a large number of cars gather at the tournament, we have to keep the road passable even for normal traffic. It is strictly forbidden to park along the road, but also in the adjacent areas opposite the entrance to the area, and cars parked here will be towed from these areas!

Gasoline/diesel power plants are prohibited from entering the parking lot.

Motorhomes and trailers are prohibited from entering the parking lot and camping is not possible in the parking lot.

Accommodation & Catering

Tent city

As usually, we are preparing a tent city for you. We believe that this year's changes will lead to improve facilities that will make your stay at the tournament more pleasant.

There will be only one tent city, but the area is larger than in previous years (we are preparing a map).
It will be fenced and guarded for the whole time by a security agency. Only participants who have paid for the tent city will have access.

We believe that, despite the tent city's fees, you will be satisfied with the increased quality of the facilities.

Catering

  • Dining options will again be available on the premises every day.
  • Except for the first day of the tournament, breakfast will be available at the stands from 7 am throughout the day until 10 pm.
  • You will find Czech and other cuisine here – ready meals, burgers, kebabs, pizza, or something sweet like pancakes or ice cream.
  • Of course, there is a tent with our Dobruška tank beer Rampušák and a bar with drinks or excellent coffee.

The organizer reserves the right to make changes in the propositions, in case of changes, those who are concerned will be informed.

Open Air Cup Dobruška

The Open Air Cup Dobruška tournament was created in 2014. The original plan was to prepare a tournament for friends and acquaintances from the floorball environment and welcome them to Dobruška, where a new outdoor multi-purpose field was built. Already in the first year, the tournament saw huge interest from teams from all over the Czech Republic, and every year the number of teams, participants and categories in the tournament increases.

Currently, the tournament ranks among the largest summer tournaments in the entire country. Over 270 teams in ten categories come to Dobruška to have fun, meet friends and enjoy floorball under the open sky.
